Privacy policy

Effective as of May 4, 2026.

What this covers

This policy describes how we collect and use information when you use the AI Gadget Store website — including browsing the catalog, signing in if you have an account, subscribing to email updates, or completing checkout flows we host.

Information we may collect

  • Account & auth: if you register or sign in (for example via email), we store credentials and profile fields needed to operate authentication.
  • Orders: when checkout runs on our infrastructure, payment details are handled by our payments provider (e.g. Stripe); we typically retain order references and metadata needed for support and accounting — not full card numbers on our servers.
  • Newsletter: if you join the mailing list, we store your email (and related preferences) to send updates. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the message.
  • Technical logs: standard server and security logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, routes) may be kept for reliability and abuse prevention.

Cookies & similar tech

We may use cookies or local storage for sessions (keeping you signed in), preferences, and basic analytics. When you are signed in, your saved cart is stored with your account on our servers. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some cookies may limit features like staying logged in.

Third parties

Outbound product links take you to merchants we don’t control. Their privacy policies apply once you leave our site. Payment processors (such as Stripe) also process card data under their own terms and certifications.

Retention & security

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example order records for tax and support, or logs on a rolling window. We use reasonable technical measures to protect information but no web service is perfectly secure.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold. Contact us using the channel you use for support on this deployment (or your site operator if this is a fork).

Children

This storefront isn’t directed at children under 13. Don’t submit personal information if you’re not old enough to consent in your region.

Updates

We may revise this policy; the date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted on this page or via email where appropriate.

For GDPR-scale compliance or jurisdiction-specific rules, supplement this page with processes your counsel recommends (DPA, SCCs, consent banners, etc.).
